The first round of the “Fit4Austria” programme concluded last night in Vienna with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce presenting certificates to representatives of 13 companies from Banja Luka and Bijeljina.
The programme is run by the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Austria together with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the Innovation Centre Banja Luka and the Development Agency of Republika Srpska, aiming to connect companies from Republika Srpska with Austrian partners and improve access to the Austrian market.
During spring 2023 the participating companies completed two training modules, culminating in a three-day stay in Vienna with meetings at Austrian companies and the Chamber of Commerce.
“This initiative allows companies from Republika Srpska to build new business contacts and deepen cooperation with Austrian companies,” said the Head of the Representative Office, inviting companies from the metal and wood-processing sectors to join future rounds.
The programme continues until the end of the year, with further rounds planned for other towns and municipalities across Republika Srpska.
