Representatives from 12 companies in the Republika Srpska received certificates from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Vienna after taking part in the “Fit4Austria” programme over the past few months.
During a three-day stay in Vienna, the participants had meetings with Austrian companies and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber; the presentation of the WIFI International certificate also marked the end of the first round of the year.
The certificates are recognised as official documents throughout the EU — a significant advantage for companies seeking opportunities for cooperation in the Austrian and European markets.
Head Mladen Filipović explained: “The aim of the project is to enable our entrepreneurs to establish direct contacts with Austrian counterparts and to explore opportunities for deepening cooperation. In addition to the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Austrian-Serbian Economic Forum also supported the organisation of the meetings.”
The initiative is being implemented by the Representative Office in collaboration with the WIFI Institute of the Chamber of Commerce and the Banja Luka Innovation Centre. Over the past two years, more than 80 companies from the Republika Srpska have already received their certificates through this programme.
