At a ceremony at the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Vienna last night, certificates were presented to representatives of companies from Republika Srpska who took part in “Fit4Austria”.
Participants had spent the previous three days in Vienna with organised meetings at Austrian companies and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce; the presentation of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WIFI International) certificate also marked the end of this round.
Head of the Representative Office Mladen Filipović noted that two rounds of the programme had been successfully carried out this year, and that participating companies had completed training organised by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce: “The certificates issued carry the status of public documents and are valid across the EU market, which matters greatly to our companies seeking business cooperation in Austria and Europe.”
The programme’s goal is to establish direct contacts between local business owners and Austrian partners. The Representative Office runs “Fit4Austria” together with the WIFI institute of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and the Innovation Centre Banja Luka. Since the programme launched three years ago, around 80 companies from Republika Srpska have received certificates.
